30 North, published by North Central College, welcomes submissions from students and alumni of North Central College and from undergraduate artists and writers across the nation and globe.
We accept submissions of previously unpublished poetry, fiction, songwriting, and creative nonfiction, as well as photos, digital art, drawings, and paintings.
We will collect submissions from October 2023-February 19 2024 with anticipated publication at the end of April 2024. We cannot accept stories over 20 double-spaced pages.

Our Mission
30 North publishes works of poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, and visual artwork in our annual print journal. Our pages welcome North Central College’s students and alumni, as well as student authors and artists from across the world. On our website, we publish author interviews conducted and written by our staff, and, in our community, we celebrate creative expression in all of its forms. We seek to cultivate a collaborative and generous community of writers, artists, and readers.
